Each and every instruction is illustrated by a photo with accompanied text. Be forewarned that everything is in Japanese. If its in English, it would probably have knocked the socks off any existing English hobby tools and modelling techniques book available as of current.

Thanks my friend for your fast and kindly responce to my email. Now I will start to practice with the retarder, although I live in Puerto Rico and here it's very hot,I will experiment with this stuff now that summer comes.Although I don't understand any Japanese et all,I think the instructions says that the retarder should be added in 10%-20% parts.

OMG!!!!!!

TIME OUT TIME OUT TIME OUT!!!!

I got a darn good idea for my 360 Spider...

I used to paint my guitar using nitro-lacquer and I would use something call lacquer melt to repair the finish.. it actually melts and reflow the paint.. and if mixed with the nitro-lacquer it acts as a retarder..

SURE A NEW THING TO TRY.. if I spray the lacquer melt over the nitro-lacquer would it reflow the surface and make the paint smooth????

STAY TURNED!!!!!!!!!!!

OK I tried it.. it helped somewhat but I still got orange peels.. even though the orange peels were rather fine..

so I guess what we need are paints that dont shrink!!!

Re: Gunze's method for a smooth gloss finish? Translations needed!

After orange peel is built up, try spraying mist coat. Small particle will fill the indentations, making the polishing work a little easier. The surface will look a little coarse, but shouldn't matter if are polishing the body.
