Wow man, hondas around here are absolutely insane. There was an 89 dx at a dealership a while back, crappy oxidized paint job, rear bumper was dented, and the mouldings were all faded. I called and asked about how much it was.... 3200!!! So I thought it was like brand new or something, just left outside....nope 258,xxx on the odometer. Now I wanted a hatch, but I wasnt about to get in the rear for one

And about ebay, my pops is sooo damned against that because one of his pals from work got royally ripped on when buying a car off of ebay

Its just not looking up for me...i get my liscense in 4 days...i dont have a car.....this week is also project week in autotec where we have a completely free week to work on anything we bring in...it owuld be nice to have an entire weeks access to the shop to work on a car...
Bought my 89 crx si on ebay motors from Miami, and drove it back up the coast with my buddy all the way up to New Hampshire (North of Boston). No Problems whatsoever 120k miles on the car+ for $1700 with No rust (NH CRX's all have cancer badly) best part was we got to chill in Ft lauderdale and go on a road trip...Had a good experience with ebay--just make sure you know who you are buying from--check their feedback and selling history. I could easily turn around and sell this car for 2500 where i live--but im definitely keeping the bitch..!

Re: How in the world do you find a 4th gen?!?

I live in maryland, not too far away from you, and there are quite a few rex's around here. I saw a few rex's then saw the Black Widow Kit, and thought it was nice as sH!t !! So I asked a friend of mine, he said his boss had one without a motor, just the shell, but I wanted one that had a motor. He talked to his boss, and his boss's friend had a CRX with a b16a in it with Type R cams, and only 33k on the engine, the inside was in-tact (rare around here). I picked up the car for $1500. The body was in a crappy state, because the person primered the whole car with a flat black spray paint, and the front left fender is dented. Other than that its good to go. So you just gotta look around. Hopefully my BW Kit comes in the next week or two, get that on, primered and painted, then start FIBERGLASSING the inside >:-D
