How in the world do you find a 4th gen?!?

GOOD GOD im getting frikin frustrated! No matter how hard i look i cant find a hatch/rex round here! and when i do something prevents me from getting it! Its becoming rather annoying and pointless....

Where is the best place to look for a 4th gen? I look in the classified 2-3 times a week, me and my pops ride around to different towns in the county looking through shitter dealerships, and i always check online....How am i searching wrong? Where else is a good place to look? Should i go to junkyards and try to find a halfway decent body and build from there? Should i sit down with a phone book and call up all the little dealerships in there asking about their inventory? AND if anyone from NC (i know ive said this before) sees any 4th gens at a reasonable price (must be stock) feel free to IM or PM me.

sometimes you need to broaden your search. every now and again we drive the 350mi each way up to portland. it sounds a bit much but really it's not. it's approx 5 hrs each way...round trip is easily made in a day.
shoot, i'll consider driving the green si up to portland if i list it on autotrader and get an offer. me likes driving

Im lookin in the range of <1200...and im really being leniant on the condition...as long as its in running condition (whether its running or not) and has a halfway decent body, im game.

And about ebay, my pops is sooo damned against that because one of his pals from work got royally ripped on when buying a car off of ebay

Its just not looking up for me...i get my liscense in 4 days...i dont have a car.....this week is also project week in autotec where we have a completely free week to work on anything we bring in...it owuld be nice to have an entire weeks access to the shop to work on a car...

its not all that great but, get in tight with a bunch of car guys you get deals and all kinds of things all the time

like i got my car for 2 grand and it had everything basically done to it plus 2 sets of wheels, i mean i dont like to rock other peoples shyt but for 2 grand it was too good to pass up ive been offered other cars real cheap too..get in with the local car guys and things pop up everyday!

If NC is anything like North Central Texas (where I'm at), you're not even going to come near finding any Civic/CRX for that low of a price.. running or not... a hatch around here easily sells for $4k, and CRX's go for higher than that...... and that's IF you can find them, which you usually can't.

NAHH NC is cheap...Before i was actually LOOKING for a civ/rex i saw rex's for 800 OBO and civics for 1k....That red hatch standard that i wanted was sold for 1200 in perfect running condition and 6 month old paint job.
