Damn, that's not bad. My paper route only paid me $100 a month back in the day. I was robbed...
And that performance kit is junk. A full I/H/E system might net you about 10-15hp at most and that's with quality parts. Plus with how cheap they're selling it, I'm sure the fit is sub-par and the quality of the products is poor. Save your money and get quality parts. You get what you pay for.
Either way, I'd get the car first and then save for bolt-on's. Buying a room full of parts doesn't do you any good if you buy a different car or something comes up. Just get the car and save your money. Then learn about the car and performance while you drive it and make your plan from there on what you want to do with it.
