130 for 6x9s is pretty cheap... I don't know what crap you deal with.

lol well i dont know where YOU get your shit but from where i get it the mb quarts are $110, the BEST pioneer ones are $80 the Alpine type Rs cost $90 the 150 rms jbls cost like $70 even the alpine type R subwoofers cost less than the nakamichi speakers, the type R cost $120 for a 300 watt rms 12 inch, i get my stuff for less than warehouse price, lets say a head unit (my head unit) retailed for $300, the guy gave me a straight out price of $240 n we said we would buy two so i asked for a lower price in the end i got it for $200 each, which is $100 off retail, same goes for just about everything there
for my system i got my sony subwoofers (350rms) for $50 each, the box for $30 |

Re: Nakamichi High End Audio?
Haha, sony subs sound like shit.
Anyhow, I can do a custom box for myself for about 20 dollars. I have a $210 RE HC 15. I have a $220 Tsunami 1000watt rms mono amp. I have 2 CDT coaxials. I plan on getting CDT components for the front which will cost a minimum of 200 dollars. I also plan on getting a $210 avionixx 4 channel amp. I also am getting a Pioneer DEH-P940mp for 50 dollars. I don't like the sound of MB quarts, too much highs. Alpine Type Rs, whoop de doo. Look at their high end (SPX-Z15M) and tell me you can get it for less than 800. CDTs sound much better for about half the cost. Type R subs are wimpy.

Nakamichi is high end in the HOME audio market ($5000 amp stuff) .... only some of the car stuff is of that kind of quality

Before, the majority of Nakamichi's market was in home stereo equipment and factory audio on as far as I know, Lexus.
As of late, they started getting into the aftermarket car audio business. Their stuff should be alright but highly overpriced. |
