Question 3" exhaust question low end vs high end

If I put a 3" TURBO BACK WILL IT REDUCE LOW END SPOOL UP? I have an automatic with turbo lag already and need a quicker spool up not more top end

PS. is the hks carbon muffler system anygood?

I think that the hks is the most expensive one out there. If you are going to spend the money i would just go with the apex n1

and the ac still doesn't work and its been almost 3 years

Going Full name brand o2 back is the easyist. It's expensive though $500-$600. You can peice together a full 3in turbo back for around $330. I bought my 3in Megan Racing downpipe and Muffler for $179 shipped to my door. I've had 3 muffler shops quote me the same price of $150 for the 3in catback as long as I put on the Downpipe and supply them with the muffler. Just a heads up! And yes, it will increase flow, and turbo spool, but will increase boost creep if you don't port out your o2. Might be worth it to spend the extra $60-$140 on an aftermarket 2.5-3in o2 housing.

This is a picture of the Stock 96 GSX downpipe next to my Megan Racing DP W/cat-eliminator. you can see the Catilitic Converter attached to the end of the stock downpipe

You don't need to port a 2.5in or 3in o2 housing. You need to port out the stock o2 if you don't buy one. To understand Boost Creep a little better, check out 1000 already asked questions on VFAQ.com. It explains it very well
