Re: spark plugs
Nick, I just changed mine, and I put the 1 prong ones in, and the truck did run like S@#T, so I changed them to the two prong ones, truck ran much smoother, I'd match what ever is in your truck.
Word to the wise, make sure you have a long extension when changing the plugs, and I'd change the wires at the same time. I used one of the old wires to pull the plugs out once I got it loose, and I also used the same wire to set the new plugs down in the holes. I cut the wire pretty short, and used it to set the plug in, and gave it a short turn, be sure not to cut the wire too short (the little metal connector will come out). Also, replace the tabs that come with the wires. It took me a little time, never changed them myself, and the book wasn't really good with descriptions. Had them changed at 60,000, by the dealer and now I decided to save some money at 140,000. Good Luck

Re: spark plugs
thanks,
i am going to have my roomate help me, it looks like it will take a little longer this time, of course it is my first time doing it. it is kinda funny but i had a hard time locating all of them (ha ha ha) you are right about the book not too clear i guess tha tis what you get when you are trying to explain 4 differnent trucks. I think i got it down alright though. by the way i decided to go with the 2 prong plugs, although i think i am going to take them back and break down and buy the denso's from the dealer. again thanks for all the help
