Exclamation Having problems with brakelights can anyone help?

Hi having problems with my breaklights the break light bar on the top of the car works but the one ones on the tail lights dont how do I fix this problem? all the light bulbs work! also my liscense plate lights also doesnt work how do I fix these problems please someone help me ASAP

Yes, it might be your multifunction switch, try moving your hazard switch from left to right and if you hear a short in the the steering wheel colum it is your multifunction switch. You can do two things you can purchase a new one which is expensive or you can stick something to keep your hazard switch in place. The multifunction switch is the turn-signal, windshield wiper control, cruise control, hi-beams, and hazard switch all in one.

I am thinking its the stop lamp fuse under the hood, unless its a 2002 or newer then you might want to check the trailblazer forum

Check the ground wire for the tailights/brakelights/turn signals as the high brake light has a separate ground from the rest.
