question
im buying a black top sr20det , and im confused, do the s13 and s14s in japan come with intercoolers stock or no so that i would know if the one im buying is supposed to come with one or not ???

All the sr20det vehicle came with the intercooler, mounted on the front right hand side of the vehicle in the Silvia's case or the top of the engine in the GTI-R's case.
Usually when you buy the engine, the intercooler is not included, as it is a part of the chassis and not really a part of the engine. I would verify with your supplier in advance. The stock intercooler is kind of small, so an aftermarket unit (front mount) is more desirable and can be had for a relatively reasonable price.
