Clickety click

97 Grand Cherokee AWD. When I turn corners, it goes "click click click..." Is this normal? Sounds like it has a locker in it, but sadly does not.

I have a 97 grand cherokee also that does the same thing. I have taken it in and no one can pin point the problem. Keep me posted.

Mine was doing that for awhile and the turning ability slowly started to get worse and worse. I had brought it in a few times and the guy said it was most likely my Transfer case. Finally, i saved up some coin and had it rebuilt. The jeep feels like new. It is amazing, the clicking sounds are gone and i can turn like a champ.
