Unhappy Stupid Stupid NewbieQuestion

Ok i am very very ashamed to ask you this...

How do u peel out?? I mean start off fast in a race?

With an auto u just press the break down and push the gas down...

But whatabout the stick???? how do do that??? ahhhhh!!!!!

now i am very embarased and will go cry in the corner :cry: :cry: :cry:

You may now answer my question or just flame me

I certainly wont flame you. For the most part you just tach up the engine and then let out on the clutch and that will break most tires loose. If the tires are sticky (drag radials) or the car is AWD and the roads are hot, you have to really work at breaking them loose.

So basically dont touch the break in a manual tranny.

Then hold the clutch... and push down gas and when u wanna start you let go of clutch???
