'83 Olds Delta 88 transmission
I have a 1983 Delta 88. The transmission is bad on it and i was wondering if anyone knew what i need to put in a replacement rebuilt tranny from the junkyard. it'll cost me about 125 bucks for the tranny as a swap. I was wondering how big of a job is this and what else do i need to consider when doing it.. I am going to purchase a Hayne's repair manual before i start, and i'll have some people with experience helping me out.. i've replaced tractor transmissions before so i somewhat know what's going on... just curious on your take on things... any comments would help....
