someone must have upgraded their brakes

I have read almost every post dealing with the problem of Suburban brakes. Now, I can keep buying new front rotors every 11,000 miles for less than @100 each....or I can get upgraded rotors and calipers for up to $3,100. My question is...has anyone out there found out which option is better?
Just to keep the answer from being that simple, I tend to tow an 10,000lb Boston Whaler up and down the Santa Cruz mountains (steep).

Just make sure you've got good trailer brakes. They should be adjusted correctly also, this will help to extend the life of your front rotors......if they keep warping you might try better shoes???? F250's are notorious for warping rotors and wearing out pads, I have 68k on it with the original pads and rotors???go figure, someone told me the OEM pads from ford are $$y but if I've gotten 60k out of them I'll buy another set. You might try going back to Chevy/OEM spec pads with new rotors.
