Question super hicas

hey guys...i am one of the newbs and after reading the FAQs I realized that the question that i was looking for to be answered was not there.

anyway...is the super hicas a very costly thing...because i have found a good condition 92 with low kilometers and it has the hicas....i know that it can be good for some situations such as straight line traction and improved control but it sucks for drifting.......but basically all i really want to know is that is it goin to cist me alot of money in the long run and is very accident prone?

thanks

Re: super hicas

um if u want to drift just get a hicas eliminator. I have hicas also but i can still get sideways pretty easy. your not supposed to drift with hicas cuz i hear it can be damaging. But take a corner going like 60 (non drift style) and its awesome how smooth and sharp it takes the turn. It makes your stomach cringe feels like your going to spin out but its all grip. i like it. i have had the car since 92 and have had no probs with hicas malfunctioning. My 240 is also a 92, I think the hicas eliminator is a cheap item if i remember correctly
