240SX 91 stalling, and Super Hicas light is on.

So I haven't posted in here for ages. Mostly because my 240SX was stored away for the winter. (Haha winter, even though it's snowing right now out side in the midle of april.)

I've been driving my 240SX (KA24DE bone stock.) for about 5 days steddy now, and yesterday it starts idling all funny again and stalling often. Starts right up with no problem. I was having no problems untill it started raining/snowing. I'm starting to wonder if the PCV value/lines are clogged. It doesn't happen all the time, it's kind of random.

Any thoughts on that? Their a pain to get to, so I am not sure if I want to deal with those untill I know I have to.

My friend was telling me he had also heard of some other hose that can get clogged and cause this same problem, but he wasn't sure what it was called. Any other ideas there?

With my Hicas light being on. After driving it out of storage the light has been on ever since. And I can definately tell that it's not working. I was trying to find the fuse for it, but it's not clearly defined. Any idea what it's referenced as on the fuse box? and is it just the fuse block in the engine compartment, or the fuse block in the car?

If not the fuse, anyone have any idea on to what could be causing it? Hopefully it wasn't damaged due to it not being moved for about a month. at a time.

Thanks,

Adam

the hicas light could be your PS fluid low... as for the stalling... when was the last tune up? how long was t stored? it may have a clogged fuel filter..

I'll check the fuild levels.

I think I figured out what the idling problem was. The distrubuter cap was a bit loose on there, so when I tightend it down, I haven't had a problem since, it's been about 4 days since then and it still seems to be working fine.
