Drop springs

Hi, i have a 95 LS and I just got some Progressive 2'' drop spring... I was wondering if i install them, will my shocks be ok and if the tires will rub or if there is any other thing that might not work.

Thanks.

Re: Drop springs

The tire will not rub. You will need to get an alignment and also consider a camber kit. The shock will be ok for a short period of timne, but to get the full use of the springs you need some good shocks.

Re: Drop springs

NOOOO!! these guys also told me that the shocks will last you.. but they wont. and since you got a 2'' drop they definently wont! i got 1.75'' and the shocks went out with in 5 min! the shock will bottom out, the shocks are not built to be that low.. i suggest buying shocks. it will save you lots of money in the long run!

Re: Drop springs

Read again I said they will be ok for a short period of time as long as they are not already worn badly.

Re: Drop springs

Going that low, I would suggest changing the shocks. And like whtteg said...camber kit and the alignment is a must.
