My washer fluid squirts weak on the passenger side and almost not at all on the drivers side. Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I start pulling stuff apart!! Thanks!!

Re: 98 taurus windshield washer probs
If you remove the hose from the nozzle at the windshield does the washer fluid shoot out the hose with a good force?
If it does then you need to carefully clean out the nozzles without using anything steel. Use a nylon bristle off a broom for example. If it doesn't, disconnect the hoses and blow through them to check for obstructions. If you don't have any reasonable output from the pump with all hoses disconnected, then check the inside of the resevoir for debris, before you replace the pump. |
