94 grand am ABS light
I can't seem to figure out why my ABS light doesn't turn off on my 94 grand am SE. I change the pads, rotors, and fluid... and still nothing. Can someone help?

When you get a light on your dash, don't just start randomly replacing things. Get the code checked out to see why the light came on. There are many different things in the ABS system that could cause the light to illuminate. Your '94 should be prior to the OBDII ECM, so you should be able to get the trouble code yourself by grounding out two of the posts on your engine diagnostic plug. If you need to know how to do this, let me know.

Re: 94 grand am ABS light
That will only work for ECM codes the abs codes will have to be retrieved with a scan tool.

I didn't just start buying parts at random, i needed them. One of my rotors were cracked, so i got those replaced. Then pads were low too, so i did everything at once. I heard you can disconnect the batter to reset the puter. Pls lemme know... thx
