Building Turbo kit, B18B1... FMU, MAP, Manifold Questions

Okay, Yesturday I picked up the first part, after searching though junk yards for about 2 days - about 8 junk yards I found the turbo I wanted so I bought it. I could not find any SVO or Thunderbird turbos like what I wanted but I found a turbo off a Late 80's Saab 9000 16v. the turbo is clean and looks like it is brand new, oil looked clean, coolent looked clean, there is not one bit of shaft play that I can feel and spins very smoothly. I picked it up for $75 including them pulling it out.

This is a T3 I belive 45 trim. Water cooled and Oil cooled. I need a Manifold next. I want a cast iron manifold but I cant find any cheaper then like $450, anyone have any ideas? I really was not wanting to spend more then $300 on the manifold as this will be a low buck set up for 6psi. I have been looking at the manifolds that have been going on ebay recently, first one is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2450266966
After talking to the guy he seems to have me pretty convinced that it will hold up and all, he says it carrys a lifttime warentee and he said they at first had some problems with cracking but supposivily that is fixed, plus these look nice and are ready to go and very cheap.

Now this one seems to look like it will hold up better and be more reliable, although I do have to weld the flange on here it seems like it would be alot better possibly, but this does not have a mount for a external wastegate already (Would I benifit at all with a external wastegate, I plan to run 6psi on the street and then 10psi at the track)

would those work? or do you think I will keep breaking stuff?

FMU is my next problem, I have a B&M Adjustable FPR - when I was using Nitrous i would just crank the pressure way up before i hit the go-go juice but now will this work? will I need a Rising FPR? where would I get one? what else would I need to get to manage my fuel system to keep me from blowing up? Should my ignition be alright at stock settings or should I retard it a few º ?

MAP sensor, Now im running real low on cash I found something called "The Missing Link" that goes under the MAP sensor and seems to be used alot, they are about $50-$70 so that is not to bad. BUT all it is a cheak valve correct? what If I just put a few cheak valves inline with it? is this the hacked way to fix this problem, I plan to exentually get a Hondata S200 with boost controls but that will not be for a few months.

While I am at it what is the best spots to T off of my motor? I need both coolent and Oil. I have not found a oil spot yet but coolent I was thinking just T off of a Water tempature sensor for the inlet then the outlet tap a line into the thermastate housing, or would this not work? any reccomendations? oil I know I will drill and tap a line to the oil pan but where should get the oil from? I have been using Royal Purple 5W-30 right now, should that be good?

Kyle

about where to get your oil there are two places in which you can get it. they make a adapterthat screws on where the oil filter is and then the oil filter on to it or you could do it the old fashion way and just remove the oil pressure sensor (right next to the oil filter) and screw a -3an line into the block then run that to a tfitting screw oil pressure sensor into the t-fitting and then run another -3an line to the turbo from the t-fitting. the second one is what i did and it has worked fine but the first way is the easiest.
