1.) I Reccomend the flowmaster exhaust. I had a GMC Sierra Z71 and put turbo mufflers on it and then took them off and put flowmasters. If the Tahoe is the same as the truck you will have to install true Duels. ( 2 mufflers )

2.) Not sure but I would think that it did
3.) The Z-71 is a package that includes performance shocks and skid plates.

got one more for ya...

i have a white tahoe and on the bumpers and continuing around the sides it has some black rubber molding. i think it would look better with out it, but i don't want to take it off it is screwed in or has a push tab. i don't want to have to paint my car so i don't want to have to fill any holes. anybody know if it is just glued or has screws/push tabs?

thanks

Re: 98 Tahoe Info

The Z71 is an off road suspension package that was put on some tahoe's and several Sierra trucks.

The Yukon grill will work on your truck.
I also recommend the flow master exhaust.

To be sure if your molding has push tabs or not, when you are under the front of the truck reach up behind the bumper and feel in about a 6 inch area, if you don't feel anything, than it is just stuck on there.

Re: 98 Tahoe Info

1) I had a local shop just weld a new muffler (Vortex, made by magnaflow) in place of the stock one, and left the stock pipe coming out the back (want to remain as stock undercover-cop-car-like as i can)

2)the molding is screwed into the bumpers, but just stuck on to the sides of the car. I just removed all the molding from the side of my 96 black tahoe.....such a PITA, but well worth it IMO. A lot of elbow grease needed to remove excess adhesive, but with the right adhesive remover, and some spare time, no problem. I will post before and after pics if anyone wants! According to one of my frineds, my tahoe looks like an undercover narcotics vehicle!!!
