98 Prelude for '00 S2k? or '02 C230?
should i go w/ '00 s2k (white with red interior) or the red '02 benz c230 (nevagation sys., 6 speed manual, 17 cus. rims.. though i don't like them). both of them have pretty much the same mileage and price. just wanted to get some opinion
 oh yea, another one.. '98 bmw 323ic w/ m3 engine swap. has about 15k miles on the engine.. blk/blk. |

I'd have to go with the S2k. Much more fun in the long run IMO. To me, Mercedes are blah unless it's an AMG modle, like say a C32 in the case of the C230 you're looking at. Plus the S2k is drop top.

just curious, why you wanna swap a del sol for a 5th gen lude, dont get me wrong i own a 5th gen lude, its just i love del sols also, just as much, if not more infact.

Although the S2000 may be faster and more fun to drive, the cash you save on insurance by owning a Mercedes-Benz ought to give you something to think about. I owned a 1992 Honda Prelude Si with 98,000 miles. It costs more to insure than my new 2003 Mercedes-Benz C230. I saved about $50 a month and I don't have to worry about little teenagers constantly stealing parts off of my car ( i.e. the Honda "H" ).
By the way, the Mercedes-Benz has 8 air bags and hundreds of pounds of protective steel. However, the S2000 does make a nice looking coffin. |

S2000 all the way.....my '02 S2000 (white/ALL RED interior)is one of my favorite cars of all time. It is like a little go-kart the way it handles....get one if you have the chance.
