That's in the topic post. Couldn't he see the horrible, horrible irony in that statement? Sounds like this guy would make a great commuist dictator. "If you have something bad to say about our country, just leave our country." I'm not going to say that you shouldn't have written it, just because it's contradictory statement, but I'm not about to tell you to leave my country just because I disagree with this statement. Give who, who's freedom???? Without France, the States'd be like Canada, New Zealand or Australia- an independent state that recognises Lizzie as thier head of state, so you can't be talking about USA fighting for any freedom.

If you are referring to the War on Iraq as a war for freedom, then you are sadly mistaken, all it's doing is taking away freedom, one by one.

Well,this thread started badly,and went downhill steadily from there.The concensus off opinio seems to be that the original post has little or no factual basis or merit,and now the thread has degenerated into the usual cliched keyboard-whippings.

In the abscence of objections,I will do the deed with just one passing thought.Its normally rather petty to pick up on spelling errors ,but there's a wonderful Irony in the title of this thread.The plural of 'hero' is 'heroes'.Unless you are speaking French,in which case, what was posted is correct.
