If page dose not load, Click on www.fdnylodd.com
then on the top of the page click on Remember 9-11
Some says it is chilling.
Everyone has a right to voice what he or she believes is right. THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT. If you don't like America then move to France with those other friggin Communist freaks.
At this time of please remember those who helped make this country what is today!

Re: The blood of heros

Well the link doesn't actually work there bud.

And I think it's the first amendment to the US Constitution that says:

"...Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances..."

In terms of what that framers of the amendment meant when they wrote the first amendments - if you read the actual words of what they legislated - it gives the right for not only one to hold a view but it also gives folk the right to disagree with you and voice that belief.

And it doesn't differentiate between the rights of the dixie chicks, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Senator McCarthy, Roman Polanski, George W Bush or even the klansman - it provides the free exercise of the freedom of speech to each an every view.

The first amendment has been tested often in the courts of the United States under the guise of all sorts of issues but it was Voltaire (1694-1778), who incidentally was French who said:

"...I do not agree with what you say, but I would be prepared to die to defend your right to say it..."

It was the willingness to defend those freedoms and rights enshrined in that misquoted and misunderstood bunch of words on a piece of paper that so many serviceman have served, been killed or wounded to protect.

It was that willingness to protect the rights and to offer a richer future for the progeny that brought so many migrants to the US and the persecution on issues of creed, ethnicity, caste, religion, custom and belief that drove them from the countries from whence they came that made the US the economic and military power it has become. It is on the backs of all those who have toiled the land and fought to preserve their freedoms that make a country great.

I liked the quotes that were in the clip. I think they could have done the video in a more tasteful fashion however.

Perhaps YOU should go read your history books.France has played a key part in American history.

Do you actually have a valid reason for your hatred of France,or are you just blindly following the rest of the rednecks?

Whoa...the France comment was out of line, but we don't need the bash the redneck crap. "Rednecks" have played a key part in American history. A whole lot more than a bunch of Frenchie's.

I think Naki's quote applies to you too, Pick, at least the first part of it.

Let's try not to get into this topic again. All it seems to get us is arguments and locked threads.

Funny how all the people who were convinced that there was a real threat from WMD duck whenever they're mentioned now.

As for rednecks playing a key part in history, they're still living it.

Apparently you didn't realize what I was getting at. I don't know if they are there or not, neither party is right or wrong b/c there is still no proof that they exist or don't exist. I said that in hopes to keep the peace around here. Think about all the past threads of WMD's all sides stated their opinions which ended up just being arguments pointing fingers at one another.

You are so stereotypical and out of touch with reality. I refuse to allow you to make such stupid statements.
