Tamiya XB Series? Any good?

Hi all. Im a newb here.
Im thinking about buying the Tamiya XB series Subaru WRC. Im not planning to race it, just have fun driving it around.
Anyone know about this 4WD kit? Any good and bad comments?
Thanks.

Re: Tamiya XB Series? Any good?

Im not a big fan of RTR kits, because when it breaks the repairs may be harder on the owner. But if your'e mechanically inclined go for it.
I have no knowledge of these kits when it comes to quality, handling etc. because i fell out of the RC world about a year or so ago as the XBs were first introduced

I have never bought any of the XB series, but are better than their QB series since the XB's can be upgraded and you can fix them when they break.
