the red stripe car (with red seat and '93 exhaust) has a Gordon Murray signature in the rear spoiler.
I don't know if that helps

Re: New (for me) Pix of silver McLaren in Japan

Sorry, I did'nt take fine photo about #No.

Although it does not know when comes, if I meet the owner of the car shortly, it will be heard about #No.
Is it better to ask others about it?

Dear Philippe.
Yes, I have a RS200. I bought it in 2000.
10 RS200s certainly exist. I know where they are.
Probably, 20 sets do not exist.

Evaluation of McLarenF1 is highest in Japan.
Evaluation of RS200 is lower in Japan.
Unnnnn.....

Dear Philippe.

I bought it about 45000US$, and to restore it costs totaly about same...

I make a deep impression about its strong body structure.
Maybe,it has stronger body than Ferrari360Modena,once I drove.

But McLarenF1 >>>>>>RS200.
McLarenF1 is ultimate road car ,I think.
I love it.

Re: New (for me) Pix of silver McLaren in Japan

Yeah, cool car Kosatoh-san. Kore ni kuruma wa ee desu ne! Please reply in Egirisu as my Japanese is very bad. Wakarimasen.

There's a few RS2000s in the US too. They rock!

The spoiler on the red McLaren has been removed. Along with the owner's yellow Enzo, red F40, red 288, red Bentley GT, and a few other cars, it's stored a few miles away from his home. I don't know why--I am guessing he is building a bigger garage. But they don't live with him.

Couple of quick questions:
1. Do you know who owns the white McLaren? (Hint: It lives at Mt. Rakko)
2. Do you know how many McLarens are in Japan? I have 4--the silver one, the white one, the dark red GT, and the orange LM. Any others?
3. Do you know which museum/collection has the orange LM and the dark red GT?

Domo.

I thought that either 24 or 26 RS200's were originally produced, or was that the RS 200 S? I actually thought they were produced in much larger numbers, or are we talking just japanese numbers?

Sorry for the off-topic venture but the RS200 is badass.

I really wish all those pictures were linked to a larger image. I also wish that he would take more than one photo of each car.

I can't believe Countach is so popular - you almost never see them here anymore and they seem to be at every event there.

I'm amazed at all the photos of the Schuppan Porsche 962CR - WOW!

The Iding Power 5-star wheels look simply beautiful on the F355

I never knew F50s could be made to look ugly:

So if the Diablo and the VW W12 had a baby... hehe

Can you believe that someone actually bought the Italdesign Aztec

Who else laughed at the Fiero??

= = = = =

mini magic - I'll try to look for them in here - I know I posted them to SC.net, but they would be long gone. If I can't find them, I'll post them again.

>8^)
ER
i feel sorry for that F50.

Dunno if this helps (and by now everyone's probably long since caring) but #006 is a very low mileage silver Japanese car with the number plate "8" (the most expensive plate in the world?). I don't believe it has a stripe.
