New (for me) Pix of silver McLaren in Japan

its an amazing site, i found them on here: http://home.att.ne.jp/wood/svr/GalleryTop.htm . I've been on there fora bout an hour and are only 1/2 through all the links.

Don't forget the GTRs. Peloton, Xotech, how many are there in Japan and what chassis numbers?

And how do you know there is a black roadcar there? Any pics? What about the silver roadcar in the pics? You sure they were taken in Japan? And that the car is still there? From what I heard, there's quite a few cars in Japan, all mothballed and considered "lost."

I don't know how many are in Japan exactly, or any other details. I have just seen the pics of the red one, which is now here, the LM and GT, and the pics of this silver car, which were apparently taken in Japan?

Mini magic, that is a superb site. I got through about 20 links before my eyes glazed over at all the exotic cars. Awesome stuff, wish I could read Japanese well enough to understand it. I took it for a year in college, but have long forgotten everything except the very basic spoken words. Great job finding this site. I will have to go back and check it out in more detail when I have the time.

By the way, I started at the bottom, and in one of those links at the bottom there is another pic of a McLaren.

i'm fairly certain the pix were taken in japan. the site was japanese . As to wether if it is still there or not, i do not know.

here is the black one (i had these labeled up as "McLaren in China" but i'm fairly sure its in Japan:

They have to be japanese, you'll notice the billboard in the background of the first pic is in japanese

To me, that looks to be the other white F1 road car - I had never seen that photo before.

mini magic - the black car you posted photos of is #003, the Ron Dennis car. It's the same car I posted photos of long ago doing a donut in an almost empty parking lot in Japan. I believe that McLaren Cars sent #003 there as a demo car for prospective customers - I don't think it lives there unless someone bought it from Dennis. Maybe someone else knows better.

Let me just say, conference calls at work are great. I was able to get through all the links.

A couple of notes on that site:

This guy is the luckiest photographer in the world.

I really wish all those pictures were linked to a larger image. I also wish that he would take more than one photo of each car.

I can't believe Countach is so popular - you almost never see them here anymore and they seem to be at every event there.

I'm amazed at all the photos of the Schuppan Porsche 962CR - WOW!

The Iding Power 5-star wheels look simply beautiful on the F355

I never knew F50s could be made to look ugly:



So if the Diablo and the VW W12 had a baby... hehe
