Question solder question

i'm working on that turn signal/headlight switch on my civic and I need to know what that tool/method is of removing solder from wires to pull them off terminals, can someone help me?

Your best bet is get a soldering iron, heat it up, and apply it to the solder you want to remove, it'll heat it up and melt it so the wire can be pulled free, just have something underneath so it doesn't drip all over the place

i may try that. For some reason I think I have done that somewhere once before and it did not work, I cannot remember when.
