Ok when i first got the car it needed a new radiator so me and my uncle found a pretty decent one out the junkyard for $52 put it in that same day in about an hour and we was on our way.
Now i'm on the freeway going about 65mph and the hand on the cars temperature starts rising to the H and the car begins to run hot. I pull over to the gas station opens the cap and steam or smoke whatever starts coming out so i let it cool off and fill it up again wait awhile and was on my way. Couple minutes later it does it again.
Basically the car doesn't leak oil or the water it's as if it's evaporating turning into steam and it only happens when u are going more than 50mph. My car is overheating but for what reason I do not know. I do know there is a minor leakage from this plastic part around the part where i twist the cap off to put more water in. But not enough for the car to drain water in less than 5min. plus the last time i had lift up the hood to put more water in it that piece was dry, so whats going on with my car? More importantly where is all this water going?
Problem: Car overheating when picking up speed but no major leakage
