Skyline- They are 275/40/17s.

Rob- Why do you say I'm in 4th gear at 60 mph? I'm in 5th gear at 70 mph @ 2800 rpm. Go find some tech calculators before you accuse people that what they are saying isn't true!

Heres the info for MY Cobra:

(MY)
Your ideal gear ratio is: 4.56 (which I have)
Your finish line RPM would be: 6270 (which is about right)
Your cruising RPM at 70 MPH (.68 overdrive): 2815 (Which is what I said, wow, what a coincidence!)

Looks like someone made an ASS out of themselves!

first of all whoever told you that a b16 is a gsr engine they got their info twisted. a b16 is an si engine. you know those are them civics that are in blue, red or black and they say "DOHC Vtec" on on the bottom behind the door. but about the whole mustang thing, if i were you i would get a cobra. them cars are fast, just throw on some 4.10 gears on them and you'll be flying. i have a friend that has a 2001 cobra and threw on the gears and man the results are off the hook. he took out a camaro that has a 454 and keep in mind that this cobra just has the gears. so far he hasnt lost a race since he put on them gears.

Talking Re: honda versus mustang

If speed, handling, and braking, all u care about, get Mitsubishi Evolution 8, a small sedan, but fast and handles like no other, in its price range. In my opinion and motortrend, i think its the best car under $30,000
-0-60mph 4.6s
-271hp (can handle up to 700hp+)
-156mph top speed,
-This car handles like its on rails,
-brakes 0-60 about 110ft. All wheel Drive, and Limited -Slip Differential automatically transfers torque to the wheel with the most traction.
-all of this is under $30,000

-All the prove @ http://www.motortrend.com/av/112_03_tsevo/index.html

THere is one Evo with even 807hp

Tested:28.10.03
Engin Mods:
Engine - Mitsubishi 4G63 4 Cylinder 16 Valve
Engine Dyno - 807 Hp & 647Lbft (2.2 Bar)
621.2 Hp At The Hubs (So Far)
548.7 LbFt At The Hubs (So Far)
Vehicle Weight 1395Kg
0-60Mph - 2.79 So Far (Road Tyres)
0-100Mph - 5.99 So Far (Road Tyres)
1/4 Mile - 10.1 Secs @ 139 Mph
Top Speed - 202 Mph
