First off, if u want true performance go with a Celica 5th or 6th gen GT4. All_Wheel drive and bulletproof trannys, these cars are untouchable. Especially when modded. The 3SGTE engine in them is one of the best engines ever. Stock it can handle up to 400hp on stock internals, and can be pushed to 900-1000hp. These cars are not ugly and will destroy the competiton. Or you can do I like I am doing and get a 90 Celica GTS, and swap in a 3SGTE engine. U get the power of the 3SGTE engine but my GTS weighs like 600lbs less than a GT4. GT4's only weakness is its weight, but the 3SGTE engine modded easily makes up for that. If u want to go with the Probe stick w/ the 1st gen turbo. Get like a 91 or 92 GT. These cars are not running 12.9's stock, more like low 14's. They are certainly faster than the 93-97 Probes, that is for sure. I used to hv a 90 GT and raced 93-97 Probes all the time and won. The 1st gen Probe GT is very underrated, cause it has great potential.
