Exhaust-question (E46 330 cic)

Hi Guys (and OF COURSE girls !)
I have lately been thinking of exchanging my original BMW exhaust with a "sport-exhaust" (Not especially for the proclaimed better performance, but for a better, sound !)...BUT : There are too many manufactures of these products.....Remus, Sebring, RAID, Zender, Abt, MK racing, NoviTec, INXX, JE-Racing.....and so on (These are companies very wellknown here in Germany, you´ll propably not know all of them in the USA).

I was looking at the exhaust from "Remus" which have an good "cost/benefit"-relation (Approx. 450 US-$), but of course it´s VERY difficult to buy an exhaust when you never have "heard" it in "real life"...Maybe some of you could give me an advice ?

i have heard supersprint exhaust and its mean and low, but not loud and annoying, just a solid rumble, good luck i am facing the same endevors also.
