If u are running a business with American workers and paying them fairly then how can u compete against another businessman who is breaking the law and using illegal immigrants? u can't compete u'd have to fire ur labor force and hire illegal immigrants and that is what's happening in the region that i live in especially in the construction business in Utah the construction business is a joke there is so much cheap labor that a graduate of a tech school has to work for peanuts because of illegal labor. law abiding businessmen cannot compete with illegal labor.

You've missed the boat on this one.

The issue isn't that an immigrant can't or won’t do any type of work. The problem isn’t with hard working people who want to come here for a job. I welcome them, we should make it easier for them to be here and get them on the tax doles. It’s the ones who come here who partake of public services but do not contribute anything to it.

In some areas, over 10% of the prison population is made up of illegal immigrants and the crime was something other then being here illegally. 10% is way out of proportion to their representation to the general population. http://faculty.ncwc.edu/toconnor/soc/355lect09.htm

We can all expound the qualities of immigrants. I wouldn’t have met my wife if her family hadn’t moved here a couple decades ago. Her dad did those shit jobs to get on his feet and now owns several businesses and is extremely successful. If all the people who wanted in were like this, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

The rules for coming here to work should be simplified. Make it easy for those who want to be here for work or citizenship. Make it easy for businesses to hire the people that they need. Otherwise, ship them back where they came from.

I never said that, the ones that are here legally are welcome because they had the decency and respect for our laws to actually come here the lawful way and they should be entitled to a job and all the benefits of US citizenship.
