Question HELP! Where do I find the crankshaft position sensor

I have an '89 Cherokee that won't start. Tested ignition module, coil, distributor all fine. I was told to replace the crankshaft position module but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have some sort of picture or diagram of where this part is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

CPS is located on the drivers side of the bell housing where it bolts to the engine. Two little bolts hold it in. PITA to get to!
That can cause it not to start as well. Have you tried starting it in neutral?

you'll need a wobbly to get it out. even removing the one from u-pull-it, from a car that had no engine was a pain.

before you screw with that, unplug it and clean the wire connection. I went to all the trouble of changing mine and after removing it, tested the old on and it tested fine but had some white corosion in the connection plug. so if I was you I'd just unplug it, clean it up, and plug it back together. it may fix the problem and save you some trouble. if not you've cost yourself about 5 minutes. the plug in is at the rear of the intake manifold. with 2 wires running down between the engine and firewall to the sensor.

here's a pic of where the sensor is-
