New Owner of 95 Grand Am
I just purchased a beautiful 95 Grand Am. It is in mint condition inside and out. I payed $3000 for it which is really cheap. The only concern I have is that it has 218 000 km. Is it common for a Grand Am to get much higher than that before any major problems occur? I only plan on getting about 30 000 km out of it before I get rid of it.

Depends alot on the motor. If it's the 2.3L 4-cyl, watch out...it's expensive to replace the head gasket when it goes, but once you replace it (with a Fel-Pro) it'll run for a while. My 3100 V6 has 222k miles on it. Miles, not KM. The 3300 is supposed to be somewhat reliable, but not quite as long-lived. The 2.4L Iron Duke 4-cyl will go forever and a day as long as you change the freakikng oil...lol.
