Yeah, its fine. I made sure it wasn't dark enough. Why doesn't your red show? Mine does. Did you do too many coats? Did you use the Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red?

I used the Testors with about 2 ½ coats. Mine is fine at night of course and during the day. But when the sun is on it, it is very faint. Is there a way I could remove it and do it all over?

Yup:

I found the best way to paint tails is at night or in the shade, and put your lights on and paint them till they're red, but you can still see them. I put one coat on only.

Xplocivic, I think it looks good, but I'd try tinting the red part too
I ordered two different spray tints from testors, I'm gonna try it when they come in.

most likely. Just do one overall even coat with the tint spray and it should look just like that.

please put the clear/red tails on your car....altezzas are so played out and most the time look hella stupid. i hate seeing a car tha'ts not fixed up hardly at all but they have those stupid altezza/skyline looking lights. screw that.

Talking

what i did was paint my altezzas. i had the altezzas with the 2 circles on top. i painted the top part, so now my taillights look like the 2000 civics. i kept on sprayin until i could see the ovals anymore, and even with all the coats i can still see the brake light with stock bulbs. my car now looks way cleaner.

i think that the r/c lights are gettin more played out than the altezza's now. everyone keeps sayin get the r/c's, altezzas are played out, and then they do, suddenly everone has r/c's and some have altezzas. oh well im goin to try to paint mine with the transparent paint sometime soon.
