Alright, I just finished swapping a DOHC ZC into my 90 hatch dx and I can't start it. When I try, nothing happens at all. The starter won't even click. Before I found a ground that I had missed the relay was making this awful clicking noise, but that has stoped now that I hooked up that ground. Did I wreck the relay? I'm getting a code 20. If anyone could tell me what they think I should check I'd really appreciate it. I'm starting to get real frustrated and I can only work on it when I go home to my parents from college on the weekends (2 hour drive). Please, any ideas you can throw at me would help. Thanks.
The battery is new, also. |

Re: please help me get my car started
code 20: Electric Load meaning there's a defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor. Since you have the relay on correctly now, I would take out the hazard fuse for 10-15 seconds to reset the ECU, then check to see if you get the same (or anymore) codes. If you do I suggest checking fuses and replacing the main relay. I am no mechanic, so don't quote me.
here's the helms page too:
