Welcome to AF, and as an Ohioan you're invited to join me and a bunch of other guys at the ISMA Supermodified/AVSS Asphalt Outlaw Sprints race next year at Toledo Speedway.
Now, onto the matter of your Mustang. A supercharger does no more damage to your engine than a turbocharger. That having been said, both can be murderous on an engine not designed to withstand the huge increase in combustion chamber pressure i.e. boost. Now, the 4.6/5.4 has been factory boosted using a Roots style supercharger (SVT Cobra Mustang) so this leads me to believe supercharging is a safe modification. By underdriving the supercharger you can make the engine more streetable (at the expense of power). In reality, boosted engines get to be finicky. They're maintenance hogs and require top-notch bottom ends to stay together. Plus be sure you've got the best valves and valve springs available. Those get torched, too. 750hp seems a little radical without major changes. What I'd suggest is making a conversion to factory twin-cam SVT heads (instead of the 4.6L SOHC heads) and going from there. 400hp might be a more reasonable street goal for now. Besides, with proper suspension and transmission tuning plus a strict diet, 400hp would be all you really need to have one stallion of a Mustang.

First I wouldn't count on making more than 450hp reliably on a 96GT internals. If you want more than that it's time to tear it apart for different Rods and Crank. Next the 700hp range I would be looking at an aftermarket block to start of with. If I had a 96 GT the first thing I would do is either look at some Fox-Lake prepped heads or get some PI heads for that 96 motor cause that is a 40hp+ differences right there.
