good! it's all falling into place.

2 teams that have been basically CURSED when it comes to World Series, the Sox and the Cubs, are through to the second round. now let's just hope they can advance even farther and with any luck make a Cubs/Sox World Series. that would rock.

yeup, the sox won.

so we've got the yanks vs the bo-sox. (HOPEFULLY the sox will win, but sadly, i see the yanks taking it in 6.)

then we've got the marlins vs the cubbies. goin for the marlins...

What will happen is the Red Sox and the Cubs will play for the series. It'll get to the seventh game and go 29+ innings because neither of them will be able to break their curses.

Yep thats funny. They'll run out of pitchers and have to go to the stands. But I hope if it does come down to the Sox and Cubs, that the Sox mop the floor with Sosa, his corked bat, and all his lies.

Sox and the Cubs would be great... but if it came down to it i see the Cubs winning, i think it's much easier to get over a goat curse than it is to cover the curse of the bambino.. but i still want the Sox to win ..

I should probably post this in Stress Relief but give the fan a break, its not the guys fucking fault! I mean my god, the Cubs still had a 3 to nothing lead, and two outs!!! Its the Cubs fault that they lost that game. They're the ones who let their lead get away from them. I just don't see any logic in blamin the guy. And yes you could call it fan interference, but from my opinion after seeing the replay about 500 times, it looks like the ball was right above the railing and there's no telling if Alou would have caught it. So Cubs fans, quite trying to find someone to blame, blame the team. They had the opportunity to win last night but they choked. Thats all I have to say for now.

There was more than one fan reaching for the ball, he's just the guy that caught it.....

Re: Re: World Series Champs this year?

i agree. if you put 1000 people in that seat 900 of them would have been grabbing for that ball. the other 100 would have been ducking so they wouldnt get hit.

looks like to me the ball was way too high anyway. if he hadn't touched it alou may have caught it, but it would have bounced off of something and would have been out of play and not an out anyway.

people need to get over themselves. its just a freaking game. its not worth it to make death threats over
