I've also got an "eBay-spec" cold air intake, Tanabe Racing Medallion Exhaust, AEM underdrive pulleys, AEM cam gear, and OBX 10.3mm spark plug wires. I've also got a light weight crank pulley waiting to go on, but I can't get that crank bolt to budge for the life of me. I haven't timed any runs yet, though I topped it out at 120 a few times. I might pick up either a G-Tech or a Blitz Power Meter ID, once tax time comes around. Maybe some AEM fuel parts too.

It is a nice little tool for top end power. It gave me a(n) increase there. as for sound it really didn't make a difference. I have been looking into the lightweight pulley's and underdrive pulleys as well. Do they make a big difference? as well as the aem cam gears? I have also ran it pretty good on a bridge down here up to 125 and didn't have anymore room to go. So i don't exactly know the full potential yet. My brother has a g-tech so as soon as i get some more stuff done i'll try to put up some numbers.

So I basically get the engine to 4,500 and shift since I don't have the right injectors. It runs pretty stout but my goal is to run 8 - 10 lbs on this engine safely. I'll be satisfied with a 13 sec DX car.

Where did you order your turbo from and about how much did it cost overall? I have looked into it, and want to get some more info on it. I have a 94 dx.

I didn't order my turbo at all. A friend of mine had it in his garage for two years cause he got a new engine and he wanted to run a bigger turbo. So he put the kit up and tried to sell it but nobody would bite cause it's power output wasn't worth the money he was asking. Two years goes by and here I am and he lets it go for $300 (full kit). If you look at the pictures on my yahoo page in my sig, you will see that it's not the best looking kit and we still have some custom fabrication to do but at least it will get up to 5 lbs now without it leaning out. It's capable of 15 lbs and 250 hp max. So it will at least get me in the 13's until I blow this engine up.

Right now we are working on fuel managment, which this kit came with none, just turbo, manifold, BOV, internal wastegate, piping, and intercooler. The kit is made by Aerodyne/Bell, just do a search on them and just read up. These kits are perfect for SOHC civics, probably the safest kit due to no oil lines, internal lubrication. Just read up and do your research, and wait for good deals. I will let you know this, when I upgrade my engine and turbo kit I'm going to be selling this one. So keep on the lookout.

I had the cam gear and the pulleys installed at the same time, I paid another mechanic my friend knows to put them on, as I have no garage, and his is spacious and heated, plus he knows his shit. Combined, they gave me a good power increase. I can't give an exact number, but it was very noticeable to me and my buddy. A worthwhile investment.

As for the intake manifold, did you have to modify/swap things to make it work properly? Things like the throttle body, throttle cable, sensors, fuel lines, etc. I'm looking into getting one for my 99 DX at a good price, and I want to know what I'm getting into.
