j/k . . . actually it's sold in Europe, and next year is due to reach N. Africa, and I believe S. America.

There is also another version . . . a GTZ or GVT or some schitt . . . with a turbo, supposed to give the WRX a run for its money!

I don't believe there are any plans for it to reach us.

The 147 is Europe's car of the year for 2001. It will probably be sold in the US in 2005-2006 along with the new Spider and GTV, 156 and 166. It will not have a turbo engine AFAIK.

OTOH the new spider and GTV are rumored to have a 400bhp(brake horse power)V8

I thought the Peugeot 3O7 was the Euro 2001 COTY, nonetheless they tested one of these on Jim's car show last week and I now want one more than an A3 or Primera

I like the car, but I canīt decide if I like or not the front. It compits with Audi A3 and other premium hatchbacks. (The Peugeot 307 is european car of the year 2002)

Just like the 156 the 147 will have a GTA version with the same 3.2 184kw V6 thats in the 156 GTA. It will compete with Audi's S3 and here in Australia it will sell for around 75k about 15k less than a 156 GTA. It will be a few years before we see it, but the 156 version should be here either at the end of this year or sometime next year. Personally I would love to have a 156 GTA Selespeed Sedan in red, I'll keep wishing.....
