Talking I got a new car; ver 2.0
2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe. 13,210 miles when I took possession. Perfect condition. All stock.

The reason I didn't get a WRX is because they weren't available in the U.S. until 2002.

Nice Ride! But why the hell does it have a bonnet scoop with no top mount IC underneath? Admittedly I've only seen the Aussie spec WRX in that model with bonnet scoop - the only other engine option here was 2.0 NA. Anyone explain0r?

Because the pre-WRX USDM 2.5RS came with a WRX hood anyway, I think they did it to differentiate it from the L model.
I have a '98 2.5RS in red but otherwise like Jay's and under the hood scoop is a blanking piece.
FYI, the rally cars run a front mount but still retain the hood scoop, it is blanked off underneath too.
