I bought my 90 teg used and it came with a CAI. My question is that on other forums, I read that there's suppose to be 3 hoses going from the engine to the CAI. Mine only has one hose from the valve cover to the CAI. What other hoses are suppose to go to the CAI or maybe that scenario doesn't apply for my car. Any thoughts. And are there any performance draw backs for not having those other hoses hooked up(ie. if those hoses are just dangling some where). But I don't see any loose hoses anywhere. however, there are a few places where there is just a rubber plug covering tubes that look like hoses should be on them. Is this normal?? Could some one maybe post some pics of what tubes should get plugged into the CAI..
Peace..

my 92 teg has a cold air intake and i just attached the oil breather line from the valve cove. those other lines attached to the stock oil breather line i just zip tied out of the way ( im pretty sure thay are just water lines so i left em be) ya should be fine with the one line from the valve cover to the intake

Why didn't you hook the other hoses to the CAI? Does your CAI not have places to plug them in? My CAI has three ports on it but only one is being used. Where and which hoses did you zip tie out of the way? Any pics?
90CRXZCSi, what do you mean when you say, you don't think there is a possible way to hook them up? later.....

there is a small rubber hose from the throttle plate(it has a pin underneath it) (tps sensor) to the intake and those other hoses i zipped out of the way were attatched to the stock oil breather line they are not important to the intake so dont worry about that. im wondering what the third hole is in your intake because i never had a need for one apparently im gunna check right now cause this is bugging me (sorry no pics)

well there is only need for two hoses on my car so the mystery of your intake continues I would just say screw the third hook up on the intake its probably for a different model car that has the same dimensions for its intake

are you talking about the 2 or 3 little tiny hoses that ran to the stock intake and now they have no where to run? if so, you dont need to hook those up.
