Figures are not a problem for me. Wanna see why?

Hi all,

As I have recently explained , I've done figures before coming back into carmodeling. It's a completely other painting technic and it takes a lot more time to finish.

I've always done Heroic-fantasy or medieval figures. I love this period.
I was in a club before creating mine and they were teaching how to paint with oil paints (Winsor & Newton )
This paint takes 3 days to dry but you can have a perfect effect.

I don't see often figures with cars. There are lots of figures on the market: pilots, truckers, girls, mechanics, ... but the modelers seems afraid to add a figure with their car. It's the best finishing touch IMO.

So if somebody wants to paint a figure, don't hesitate to contact me, I'llt try to give my best advices.

I've seen a great girl rider figure for the Tamiya 1/12 kit I think but I can't remember the company or any info's about it???
Do you know something about this figure???

I'd actually be very interested in what you have to say. I've been wanting to make a couple race queens to go with my Pennzoil Skyline. My plan was to use a couple 1:24 Preiser undecorated (there's my old train lingo) figures and lead foil for their little dresses. I figured I could paint them easily enough with Partha paints.... It was going to be making their clothes that was going to be so tough... and getting little Pennzoil decals to stick on them.

I don't remember the brand, I think it's JDmodels or JGmodels. I can't remember exactly. I'll search in my magazines tonight and keep you informed.
I've seen this figure lots of times in shows, she is very beautiful, great body and big b00bs
She is perfect for a Tamiya bike but if you have no experience in figures it will be difficult to make something good.

wow! great figures man! some of my tamiya f1 models have driver figures and i've got a couple of mechanic figures from a friend. i'd really appreciate a few tips or even a how-to on detailing/painting figures.

Well you are the man that's exactly the figure I was talking about..I'd love to know from where I can get it...What caugh my eye was the great detail of this specific figure...
On the experience side I've been painting WARZONE figures and I've played with shades and lights on the small horses I've posted before so I think I can handle both cloths and skin tones...However If help is needed I can ask you for some info!!!

Ok, it seems that some people are interested in adding one or more figures to their kits.

I will make soon a 'how to: paint figures for a diorama'. It will explain different kind of painting with pics. Don't expect this 'how to' very soon because I'll prepare it when I'll paint the two figures of my Teardrops diorama. Maybe in a month or two.

Btw, here are other combinations of figures and kits. Perfect kits and perfect figures, you know what I mean

These figures are not mine, I took the pics from a french club.
Believe or not but the 3 first figures in the 3 first pics are scratchbuilt.

Here's some figures I did for practice. Got the kit for $5 and decided to try and learn how to figure paint. Used acrylic paints since I didnt want to buy expensive oils.
