LOL, Thanks for panicing for me HAI, I was putting it back on after racing. I was too bugged out to use it for long. I may be new to racing but I know about cars and it seemed strange that such a simple mod would make much difference.

get a CAI off ebay, but not an extreme cheap one, and then get a K&N cone filter and swap them, the get DC 4-2-1 header, and finally exhuast, probably like 2.25" or so. and youll feel a big difference, I had SRI, DC 4-2-1 and 2.25" on my RS and it was nothiong special but was pretty fast, saw a LS hit a 16.1 with just SRI and exhaust.

theres your help.

Get the DC Sports 4-1 one piece header instead of the 4-2-1.

Why would he want to do that?
You have a 421 on yours, are you not satisfied?
A 4-1 header is for high end power, but low end torque suffers. The 4-2-1 header is for low and mid range power and increases low end torque which is what you want for a B18B1.

Well my buddy has basically the same setup as I do but he has the 4-1 header and when we race i cannot seem to beat him, I get him off the line then he starts pulling me at the end of first and so on. And on the highway it feels faster than mine by a good bit. But the b18b1 has good low end troque as it is and is really kacking in the upper rpm range and the 4-1 header will boost the upper rpm range. Think about it like this when you race after firat gear you don't really fall below say 4500 rpm so the upper rpm range is where you are going to want your power especially if he decides to get cams. I am disatisfied with mine in away after my buddy beating me. I am considering getting a 4-1 but I don't now yet.

I want the best for my car and the low and mid seem good for the time being till I go turbo. Thanks, this seems to be the perfect place to learn.

sorry, but if u actually did do a search, then u'd find out that ppl have said that exact post of 94tegrs about 100 times in the last month.

all im saying is its getting rediculous having the same question on the boards over an over again.

but u want advice, work on ur top end. hondas have no low end torque, an where do u spend ur time when ur racing? the high end...therefore u want ur car to pull hard up top, even if it gives up a little bit of low end. test-pipes are a nice add on to the normal intake/header/exhaust set-up.

im not tryin to come off as a dick or anything, its jus a VERY old topic that if u jus type in "cold air intake" then u'd see a bunch of different threads already.
