ok, i don't consider myself ignorant for being an american, but i'm first gen. american in my family so maybe i was raised right. also, i thought that the term rice or ricer was a derivative ot the term "rice burner", the slang term people with domextics used to call imports. not that that doesn't have rasict undertones as well...
