The best handling tires out there aren't Z-rated.

Advan DNA GP's certainly aren't, I know a friend who sports some, oh, and they aren't even DOT legal either since the tread wear rating on them is SO low. How about tires rated at 10K miles? That's about what they are. They also cost $750 for a set. They are exactly like Yoko ES100's in design, but just made from a much softer rubber compound for grip, not to mention they will handle better than a set of Pirelli P-Zeros which ARE Z-rated. Speed ratings don't mean how much better the tire will corner or handle, it just means how fast of speed it'll handle since the faster you go, the hotter a tire gets.
