for the money it would cost to put the 300ZX TT engine into your car, you could probaly buy a nice good condition 300ZX twin turbo. The twin turbo Z is a sick car, any Z is a sick car, thats why im buy a turbo Z instead of another 240SX. OR just turbo the KA and with the rest of that money you could be mad fast. KA for straight line racing, SR for drifting, as you said with another post, you want straight line racing. Turbo the KA you wont be sorry. 6-7 psi you'll still be reliable and that cost what $2000 and you'll be faster then you would ever expect to be with out swapping engines. Stick with the engine thats in your car, its easier that way.

Ralph - just to clarify, the VQ35 in the 350Z/G35/FX35 isn't the only VQ. all of the Maxima engines since the early '90's have been VQ30's, as far as i know.

a VG30DETT swap is possibly, but, like the RB26DETT swap, only if you have alot of cash on-hand. it's a WIDE engine. Unstable Hybrids had a project car with one being put into it before they shut down.
