Can you please explain,while you are at it,how American lives are going to be saved?The security measures implemented after the WTC attack will have already achieved that.Some would argue that if the current level of defence had been in place before the WTC attacks,when there was intelligence that a terrorist threat existed,the tragedy might have been averted.Unfortunately,until Sept 11th,the U.S. government seemed to be putting most of their 'defence' forces and intelligence gathering initiatives into overseas locations.
