where is a good place to get paint?
im looking to buy some touch up (or any kind of paint) that will match my 95 Maxima (its dark green metallic)
any cool websites someone can recommend? thank you!

touch up paint? is it for a scratch? generally, touch up paint isnt that great and usually makes it look worse.

but i have metal showing (this is more than a scratch) so i wanna fill it up with something that looks sort of like the original paint.. but i think i found some sites... www.paintscratch.com for instance

dude, why not just sand down the area, re-primer it, color match and clear coat?? I think touch-up is for light scratches...

thats exactly what im going to do.. i was just asking if anyone knew of a good place to get color matched paint..
paintscratch.com sells primer/base(matched)paint/clear coat so im thinking of going with them - unless someone knows of a cheaper/better place?

You need to find a local store that sells auto paint. They can look up the color code for your specific vehicle and give you perfect matching paint.
You can buy a pint relatively cheap.BTW: touching up with a brush may not look as good as completely reworking the spot but it will keep the bad stuff from spreading and it looks fine from a distance (not to mention it's about 20x cheaper). tdaily

if you really take your time, you can match the paint pretty well, that's if the paint is relatively new. a '95 is gonna be faded quite a bit from the original color
