Its pretty shitty they did that, but I'm sick and tired of there being so many whinny asses out there who get their feelings hurt over something so stupid and then suing.

If they gave me a model of myself that looked like myself I'd be pretty traumatized, too

It's not like the 'deformity' was a birth defect, it was remotely 'self inflicted'.

If lego had ignored the deformity altogether and made the model showing wim with 2 healthy arms then he would probably have sued them for being insensitive to his disability for that too, either way they were going to loose!

Lego Windsor were wrong for doing this, he was wrong for over-reacting.

From now on they should not have any interaction with their employees. Give them their paychecks and go home. There’s bound to be another asshole in there to sue over some stupid shit like that again.

With you it would be easy, we could make the model without anything inside the head part.....you know, like you have no brain

Oh sorry, did you say inconsistency.....dang, put the brain in there then

The part that gets me is..

"It was intended to reward three years of work as attractions team leader at the theme park in Windsor, Berks.

But he was so distressed a psychiatrist signed him off for nine months
"

How the hell can someone get into such a state simply because it is publicly acknowledged that he has a disability? The guy obviously knew there was something wrong with his arm, what is it that Lego have told him that could possibly cause him nine months of distress?
